Why two names — Leif-Erik Hvide and Leif Erikson?

Leif-Erik Hvide is my real name, used for nonfiction. Leif Erikson is my pen name for fiction — it keeps the genres distinct while honoring my Norse heritage.

Not at all. Every book is written for professionals in their field, not for engineers. If you can use a smartphone, you can follow along.
